I don't drink coffee every day, but I do love the ritual and experience of it. For me, coffee is served best in the company of friends [or with a laptop and book in tow]. The quality of the beans and their preparation makes a difference, naturally. But what sets apart my favorite Atlanta shops isn't so much the coffee itself [at least from my latte drinking perspective]. Each place has a different vibe [yes I said vibe!] and informs the way I enjoy my coffee whenever I stop by for a cup.
Revelator Coffee has several locations in the US and is fairly new to Atlanta. Based in New Orleans, their Atlanta [Westside] outcrop has a very modern, clean-lined sensibility. It's a wash of white, and is most certainly a quiet coffee shop. It's the perfect spot to bring a book and sip while sitting in modern serenity.
Tip: head there close to the end of day [they close at 6pm] because there's a good chance you'll snag a sneaky complimentary pastry [or three!] from the staff!
